New York Times seeks climate science correspondent

The Climate Desk at the New York Times is looking for a climate science reporter with a strong knowledge of the science of global warming.

Candidates must also have the ability to write clearly and should have a track record of ambitious, rigorous and exclusive reporting that has shaped the conversation on climate and advanced our understanding of it.

Applicants should be well versed in current research and well sourced in the research community, and able to convey the science to Times readers in a clear and accessible way.

This position is based in New York or Washington, D.C.
