August 5, 2019

Bent on a new direction in journalism, the New York Times is seeking audio producers and editors who can do everything from working with more traditional print journalists to bring their stories to life in audio form to heading out on the campaign trail to churn up great video stories from the field.

They are calling on audio producers and editors who can pitch in to do everything from transcribing interviews and tracking down archival audio to participating in story meetings and group edits.

While The Times says it isn’t posting for a specific role, it is also seeking possible candidates for a range of audio producer and audio editor roles on a politics show.
