While the reporter will routinely field breaking stories across the tech, finance and consumer industries, a key focus will be covering the ins and outs of the media business, including and especially at the major TV networks and their news operations. The reporter will likewise be encouraged to develop deep sourcing in the sector with the aim of delivering exclusive and important stories on the beat. In addition to breaking news, there will also be ample opportunities for enterprise and investigative pieces.
