The New York Business Journal has an opening for full-time reporter.
We are seeking a lead writer for this digital-only site launched by ACBJ a little more than a year ago.
The successful candidate is in love with (and skilled at) all the digital-reporting weapons in the arsenal — blogging, social media, photography, smart-phone video — to showcase his or her aggressive reporting and lively writing style.
The successful candidate craves metrics and is savvy about growing and owning audience. We’re looking for someone with at least two years reporting in his or her current ACBJ position.
Experience on beats such as tech, media & marketing, retail and/or transportation are a plus. Proven ability to work independently, develop sources, network efficiently and meet aggressive production requirements are a must. This is a big opportunity for someone who has the energy and chops to keep up with the nonstop pace of the Big Apple economy.
If you are prolific, creative and a bulldog news buster, and you think digital is the greatest thing ever to hit journalism, this job might be for you.
