New Orleans City Business seeks a reporter

New Orleans City Business seeks a reporter, who will work remotely out of their local home office, who is ready to join the region’s top newsroom for business news coverage. We’re forging new ground with our online coverage through our twice-daily email updates, and our newspaper has set the standard for in-depth business news analysis. The ideal candidate for this position will be comfortable working in both formats.

Our newsroom’s goal is to break transactional business news and provide insight after the fact as to why this news is important to our readers. It’s what we call “business intelligence” – a commodity that is so valuable to our readership that they cannot do business without it.

Please apply with a resume and original cover letter along with links to or attachments of your best work (which doesn’t have to be your most recent).

New Orleans City Business, a subsidiary of BridgeTower Media, offers competitive compensation and a generous benefits package.
