Morning Brew seeks writer for Emerging Tech Brew

Morning Brew is hiring a writer to join the Emerging Tech Brew franchise position based in New York City. However, office colocation will be contingent on stay-at-home orders; until then, all employees are working remotely.

You will work with the current writer and senior editor of B2B verticals to ideate, research, and create content that helps over 180,000 readers who work in and around the emerging technology space.

You will also:

  • Conduct research to support curation and creation of key stories
  • Write stories and other associated content for the newsletter
  • Generate ideas for and lead/co-lead creation of other non-newsletter editorial projects

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Deep interest and expertise in emerging tech topics
  • At least 2-3 years of professional writing experience OR 2-3 years of post-graduate industry or technical experience in or around emerging technology
  • Understanding of how to analyze and draw conclusions from structured and unstructured data
  • Keen understanding of the information and insights that professionals need in
  • Ability to operate in a high-pressure environment
  • Combination of attention to detail and creative, strategic thinking
