Modern Healthcare is seeking an experienced correspondent for its New York City bureau to cover all aspects of healt hcare business, policy and politics in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic region.
The job also entails covering finance and business strategy for both non-profit and for-profit institutions.
Requirements
This position reports, writes and produces for all Modern Healthcare print and digital publications and is expected to generate other forms of editorial content including but not limited to blog posts, podcasts, video, webcasts and social media.
This correspondent:
Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and must be able not only to cover the news and generate enterprise features, but report and write insightful analysis of the policy and political changes affecting all of healthcare.
A minimum of five years of healthcare business reporting experience required.
Interest and skills in database journalism.
Web publishing, multimedia and social media experience preferred.
B.A. in journalism or related field required, graduate degree preferred.
