MNI, a global financial news service, is seeking an economic data reporter for the Washington, D.C. bureau.
The ideal candidate will have three to five years of reporting experience; a BA in economics, statistics, business or related field; experience with all aspects of Excel including creating graphics; knowledge of government and private economic data reports, as well as solid writing, editing and communications skills, and acute attention to detail.
Experience reporting on economic data, the economy in general and economic policy strongly desired, along with an ability to spot important developments and break news. Must be a good team player willing to jump in where needed, and a multitasker who can fit into a fast-paced newsroom.
