MLex wants a seasoned journalist to fill the role of chief correspondent.
As such, the candidate should have at least five years of journalism experience, preferably with an agency-reporting background.
He/she should have proven aptitude and suitability in writing, researching, contact building, and expertise. Preference will be given to candidates with direct experience in covering activist investments, although expertise in similar coverage areas could also be relevant.
The correspondent will report to his/her regional Managing Editor, but will defer to the Global Chief Correspondent on the beat for guidance and coordination. He/she may also be expected to assist with coordinating a small coverage-beat team and mentoring junior staff reporters.
The correspondent could be based in Washington, DC, New York or San Francisco.
The coverage of MLex, a LexisNexis company, spans the world’s foremost regulators in the US, Europe, Asia and Latin America.
