International news service MLex is seeking a full-time reporter for its Washington, D.C., bureau.
Founded in Brussels in 2005, MLex provides online regulatory news, analysis and information for legal and financial professionals. The company is expanding rapidly, most recently into Brazil and China.
The successful candidate will cover the nitty-gritty of securities, derivatives and banking regulation, as well as the regulatory process. He/she also will assist with research, which includes maintaining databases, filing documents to these databases and writing document summaries.
The candidate should have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in a related field, and one year of journalism experience.
