MLex seeks antitrust reporter in DC

International news service MLex seeks a reporter/researcher in our Washington, DC, bureau to assist a team of reporters in covering federal antitrust investigations of mergers and acquisitions. The candidate should be a well-organized self-starter who can scan dozens of government filings daily, attend source meetings and cover speeches, panels and conferences.

This is an excellent opportunity for an English or journalism graduate with one to two years of writing and reporting experience. An understanding of antitrust and law is a plus, but not essential. If you care about the nexus between government and business, can write clearly under deadline and enjoy breaking news early and often, we’ll teach you the rest.

Please send a cover letter and resume to Tony Cooke, managing editor, MLex North America, at cooke@mlex.com.

The coverage of MLex, a LexisNexis company, spans the world’s foremost regulators in the United States, Europe, Asia and Latin America.
