This person will help MiBiz expand its daily web reporting and contribute to the biweekly print edition. As an organization, we value old-school journalism built on research, asking the right questions, honing story angles with editors, and vigorous fact-checking. The right candidate should have some prior reporting experience, a strong work ethic and an underlying curiosity needed to do enterprise journalism.
We provide extensive training and mentoring, which have helped previous employees move on to careers in journalism at major metros and city business publications, as well as PR, marketing and advertising. We offer competitive pay, benefits/retirement plans and a flexible work environment. Please inquire at careers@mibiz.com.
