Mergermarket has an immediate opening for a full-time reporter to cover mergers and acquisitions in its New York office.
The role involves interviewing senior executives and other sources to uncover a company’s corporate strategy. The reporter will need impeccable writing skills and have the ability to produce a steady flow of copy under tight deadlines.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of one to two years’ experience as a business reporter. Experience covering the financial services industry is a plus. An undergraduate degree in Finance or Journalism is required. A Master’s Degree is preferred, but not necessary.
