It specializes in providing forward-looking articles focused on mergers and acquisitions (M&A), IPOs, corporate strategy initiatives, and industry trends.
The company now has an opening for an investigative business reporter based in the Chicago area.
Ideal applicants will have at least two years’ experience as a business reporter, have the ability to probe executives and other sources to really understand a company’s strategy, and to produce a steady flow of copy.
Good contacts among venture capitalists, industry executives, and bankers, are a definite plus. An inquisitive demeanor and the ability to produce several stories per week are musts.
This position is home-based.
