The Daily Camera and Longmont Times-Call newspapers in Boulder County, Colo., are looking for an experienced journalist to serve as a Deputy City Editor, working weeknights in our Boulder newsroom editing daily and longer-term stories for the newspapers’ websites and print editions. The ideal candidate is a seasoned journalist with 3 to 5 years of experience as an editor, who is a skilled wordsmith and master of AP style, who has a sharp eye for detail, and who can work closely with our reporting staff to improve both their storytelling and reporting. We’re looking for someone who can remain calm and collected — and make smart decisions — in high-stress, deadline situations.
