Maryland Daily Record seeks business reporter

The Maryland Daily Record is seeking a business reporter.

This is a beat that covers financial services and some of Maryland’s iconic, home-grown companies and which focuses in particular on how entrepreneurs and innovators are growing their businesses. We’re looking for candidates with multimedia skills who love storytelling, have a hunger for breaking news online and the skills and talent to fashion it into a compelling story for print.

We’re based in Baltimore. We’ve been covering the business and legal affairs of Maryland for more than 125 years. If you’re interested in a fast-paced news environment and the opportunity to shape coverage for a smart audience, this job may be for you.

Please send your resume, clips and digital portfolio to Editor Tom Baden at tom.baden@thedailyrecord.com.
