Lux Magazine is accepting pitches. We publish in print three times a year.

ABOUT THE COMPANY

Lux is a socialist feminist print glossy magazine with articles about class and community, beauty and justice. Lux is short for Rosa Luxemburg, one of the most creative minds to remake the socialist tradition. Aiming to turn the traditional women’s consumer magazine upside down, Lux is playful, incisive, irreverent, class conscious, stylish, and strategic.

WHAT TO INCLUDE IN SUBMISSION

  • Write a short introduction about yourself
  • Include a paragraph highlighting your writing experience, relevant credentials and publication credits
  • Attach links to your strongest work or portfolio, and online profile.

COMPENSATION

  • $1/word for features, $.50/word for everything else.
