Lowcountry Local Media, inc. is searching for the next editor of our community newspapers. An impending retirement has us searching for a talented individual to lead the editorial team of our intensely local newspapers.
The editor sets the overall tone for our newspapers through the assortment of story assignments, compilation of expertise columns submitted by community business leaders, placing columns from local mayors and other politicians, as well as enterprise stories crafted by freelance journalists and stringers. The editor will also write articles of local interest to share with our devoted readers.
We are looking for an editor to plan, develop, and execute engaging and informative local news for our well-respected newspapers.
