Louisville Business First reporters work in a digital-first mode. They produce breaking news and useful information for readers, developing digital content daily and other reports for the weekly edition. They are masters of their beats and write with authority and deep context.
Duties:
Write or aggregate a minimum of three online reports per day; produce content for a weekly reporter page; develop in-depth reports for cover stories about once per month; write people-oriented articles about once per month; contribute content on occasion to special publications; work with the graphics staff to plan photos and graphics that enhance content.
Skills:
Top-notch reporting ability, excellent writing skills and willingness to collaborate are essential. Ability to juggle multiple assignments at a time is a must. Ability to develop content in a proactive way is required. Photography and/or videography experience is an asset.
