The Long Beach Business Journal, founded in March 1987, is a biweekly (every other Tuesday) news magazine covering the greater Long Beach area.
‘We are seeking a full-time staff writer to cover a wide range of industries. We service an area that includes the ports of Long Beach and Los Angeles, the Long Beach Airport, three major hospitals, a growing creative sector and an expanding hospitality/tourism industry, which includes the Queen Mary, the Aquarium of the Pacific and much more.
We also focus on city hall issues impacting the business community. We are looking for a writer who can write hard news stories and feature articles and handle several assignments at once.
Our office hours are M-F, 8:30-5:30. We provide company paid group medical, a dental plan, two weeks vacation, nine paid holidays and more.
