Life & Thyme is looking for writers

Life & Thyme is looking for pitches around the theme of “What We Carry,” focused on the region of the US South. We’re looking to examine how food and culture travel through the people who carry it. We’d love to have them in by EOW, but ASAP is best.

ABOUT THE COMPANY

Life & Thyme is a platform for culinary storytelling, curated from a global network of contributors. It hopes to expand critical conversations, encourage cooperation and inclusiveness, and promote the enjoyment and awareness of food culture, its complexity and creativity.

WHAT TO INCLUDE IN SUBMISSION

In your pitch, please make sure to include the following: the topic you’re looking to explore, the featured characters in your story, experts you plan to talk to, etc.

  • Write a short introduction about yourself
  • Include a paragraph highlighting your writing experience, relevant credentials and publication credits
  • Attach links to your strongest work or portfolio, and online profile.

COMPENSATION

  •  $200 and $500.
