The candidate will be responsible for researching and writing stories, conducting interviews and attending various local meetings, events and functions. Responsibilities:

• Interview sources and gather information for stories.
• Edit stories for accuracy, clarity, and grammar.

• Develop story ideas and angles.
• Work with editors to ensure stories meet deadlines.
• Develop relationships with sources to ensure access to reliable information.
