LexisNexis seeks a senior antitrust reporter, MLex

MLex is looking for a seasoned journalist to cover antitrust regulatory risk in the US.

Responsibilities:

  • To break exclusive stories and writing forward-looking commentary and analysis on emerging situations in antitrust regulation.
  • To be a point of contact for the outside world, particularly the US, representing MLex’s US antitrust coverage in the press, and to subscribers among the legal and, occasionally, fund management readership.
  • Increase quality and quantity of US antitrust breaking news and commentary.
  • Cement MLex’s reputation among legal and financial readers as the go-to outlet for news and commentary on regulatory antitrust situations.

Requirements:

  • An ability to break exclusive news day in, day out.
  • An ability to pursue hard-to-get information from evasive sources.
  • An ability to build and maintain a network of sources in the regulatory community.
  • An ability to train and inspire others, by leading by example and through soft-management skills.

The salary range provided in this posting is the base salary range for California. Base Salary Range: $60,700.00USD – $101,100.00USD
