Lehigh Valley Business seeks a reporter

Lehigh Valley Business, a leading publisher of digital and print content for the business community in the greater Lehigh Valley, is looking for an experienced business journalist to join the LVB newsroom team.

The mission of Lehigh Valley Business is to guide the conversation for the business community, whether that communication is in person — events, roundtables and symposiums — or through digital and print communication. We help recognize business leaders for their accomplishments, provide marketing solutions for our clients and uncover the business news that drives our local economy.

The ideal candidate for the position will collaborate with team members throughout the company, write stories that affect the greater Lehigh Valley, which includes Allentown, Bethlehem, Easton and Reading. We need a self-starter who can work both independently and within a team structure. The reporter has to be able to juggle multiple responsibilities at any given time.

We need someone with proven news judgment and experience with reporting and writing on many types of content platforms: online, print and video. We also need someone with the curiosity to try new digital tools and understand the news and data needs of a business-to-business market. You’ll help generate online content for our website and print publications.

Please apply by submitting a resume, cover letter and three writing examples.
