Lee Enterprises seeks a biz reporter in Central Illinois

Lee Enterprises is hiring an enterprising reporter to cover business in Central Illinois.

This reporter is based at The Pantagraph in Bloomington and will contribute to the Herald & Review iin Decatur and Journal Gazette/Times-Courier in Mattoon-Charleston, as well as other news organizations in Lee Enterprises.

The region is home to electric vehicle maker Rivian Automotive’s enormous assembly plant, is the global headquarters of State Farm Insurance and Country Financial, and serves as North American headquarters of Archer Daniels Midland.

Hussman Sr. Distinguished Professor in business journalism at UNC-Chapel Hill. He is a former business journalist for Bloomberg News, Businessweek, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, The Tampa Tribune and the Sarasota Herald-Tribune. He is the author of the leading business reporting textbook "Show me the Money: Writing Business and Economics Stories for Mass Communication" and "Thinking Things Over," a biography of former Wall Street Journal editor Vermont Royster.
