Law360 seeks a Supreme Court senior reporter

Law360 is seeking a senior reporter to cover the U.S. Supreme Court. This reporter will produce breaking news, in-depth analysis and a coverage of Supreme Court arguments and the workings of the court. They will conduct regular interviews with practitioners and academics for insight into the rulings and operations of the court, and work with other Law360 reporters and editors to help coordinate the publication’s coverage of the Supreme Court.

Required:

  • At least two years of full-time, paid reporting experience
  • Demonstrated reporting and writing skills

Preferences:

  • Experience reporting for a legal audience
  • Experience writing under deadline pressure
  • Experience covering the Supreme Court

Qualified candidates will be asked to complete writing and reporting tests electronically.

Law360 offers extensive training on legal topics. Business or legal reporting experience is not required. However, professional reporting experience and strong writing and analytical skills are required to succeed in this job.
