The Las Vegas Review-Journal needs smart, energetic business writers to cover the city few tourists see: Factories where they build spaceships; Silicon Valley refugees remaking downtown as a tech oasis; and multinational corporations run by outrageous billionaires.
We’re looking for an experienced reporter to cover economic development, banking and finance.
The right candidate will know enough about business to understand a balance sheet and analyze a quarterly report; have database, social media and multi-media reporting chops; be a tireless investigator and demonstrate strong critical thinking and communication skills.
Pay is negotiable and benefits are competitive.
The Review-Journal is Nevada’s leading news organization in print and on the web, an equal-opportunity employer and a drug-free workplace. A pre-employment drug test is mandatory.
To apply, email a cover letter, resume and your three best writing or editing samples to James G. Wright, Deputy Editor, at jwright@reviewjournal.com. Please put “Business writer position” in the subject line. Applicant review will begin May 10.
