The business section of the Los Angeles Times is seeking a real estate reporter to cover one of the world’s largest, most lively housing markets.
We’re looking for an ambitious journalist who can think creatively and write with authority on one of the most important beats at the paper. Whether they buy, rent or invest, Californians care about few things more than their homes.
The ideal candidate would be a seasoned, versatile reporter who can break news, spot trends, manipulate spreadsheets and profile interesting people and neighborhoods. This reporter will be highly productive, able to deliver clean prose on deadline, weave elegant narratives, and find innovative ways to tell stories online.
