LA Business Journal seeks a finance reporter

The Los Angeles Business Journal seeks an aggressive and sophisticated finance reporter who can regularly scoop the competition on breaking news and set the pace on analytical coverage that provides readers with the context they need to understand a rapidly changing market.

We want someone who takes ownership of the beat personally.

The Los Angeles Business Journal is the leading source of information for the community of business in Greater Los Angeles, and we need a reporter with the drive, skills and personality to build a network of sources among the banks, non-bank lenders, private equity firms, VCs, angels and others who make up a dynamic financial field.

A minimum of 2 years at a daily, weekly business publication or online publication required. Familiarity with balance sheets, earnings reports and basic principles of business journalism is a must.

Send resume and clips to editor Jerry Sullivan at jsullivan@labusinessjournal.com.
