KUOW has an outstanding opportunity for a Producer (Talk Show Producer 3) on our new daily news program, “Soundside.” Reporting to the Supervising Producer, this position pitches, plans, and executes daily and long-term coverage while seeking out new voices and developing local sources. What sort of journalist are we looking for? You are a curious producer who looks at the world through sound. You have a deep curiosity about local news, and you’re always hungry for original stories, unique angles, and perspectives from underrepresented voices. You thrive working with a team, supporting your colleagues and providing honest feedback. You act to promote equity and inclusion and demonstrate cultural competency. Sound like you? Produces talk/web segments for KUOW’s local midday show, “Soundside.”
