The new climate change reporter will be a vital part of KQED’s science team, producing radio and online stories for a wide range of KQED properties, from newscasts, feature slots and the company’s website, to The Bay and The California Report.
The reporter will have opportunities to participate in and lead special projects, report for NPR, and provide expertise both inside KQED and in the broader community.
The company is looking for someone with a passion for great science storytelling, guided by a dedication to scientific truth, and who brings a critical eye to the narratives shaping political and cultural responses to the climate crisis.
