Are you a freelance writer who has written fiction for K-6 students? Are you also familiar with grade-level science concepts? If so, Jump Start Press would like to hear from you!

We are looking for experienced elementary writers for a potential project set to begin in May. The client is seeking a wide range of voices that reflect the diversity of today’s U.S. classrooms. This would be part-time work.

At Jump Start Press, our mission is threefold. We provide you, our clients, with the expertise to develop and execute a quality product from proposal to press. We give teachers creative, pedagogically sound instructional materials to help them reach all children. We inspire and empower children with the knowledge and tools needed to become our future thinkers and leaders.

  • Write a short introduction about yourself
  • Include a paragraph highlighting your writing experience, relevant credentials and publication credits
  • Attach links to your strongest work or portfolio, and online profile.

  • Up to 25 cents per word
