The Jacksonville Business Journal is looking for a digitally savvy reporter to cover the real estate and retail beats.
We break our news on the website and through social media and follow-up in depth in the weekly newspaper. Our readers have gotten used to seeing the most timely and insightful business coverage on our website and in our paper, and we need a reporter who can carry on that tradition. Jacksonville and Northeast Florida have a vibrant commercial and residential real estate market.
The city’s retail footprint is expanding as well. We’re looking for the traits that make a successful journalist: A naturally curious mind, the ability to make sources and grow a source network, a passion for the work in its digital and print form, and a solid work ethic. Business writing experience and ability to shoot photos and video a definite plus.
We are part of American City Business Journals, a 42-city national business news network owned by Advance Publications.
