Investor’s Business Daily is seeking a full-time reporter to cover all aspects of ETF investing and the dynamic Exchange Traded Funds industry for a national audience of print and Internet readers.

This is an opportunity to build expertise in a fast-growing segment of the investment industry that has become popular with both novice investors and sophisticated traders. Story topics will include emerging investment trends, ETFs’ performance, interesting new ETFs and strategies for all types of investors to use ETFs to reach their financial goals. Interviews with successful investment pros and top industry leaders are part of the beat. The reporter also may contribute to IBD’s mutual funds and other markets coverage.

All IBD reporters write articles for both print and the Investors.com website. We will provide training as needed on Web-friendly writing techniques and getting your stories noticed on the Internet. Training also will be provided on using IBD’s extensive database of stock, ETF and other financial information and incorporating charts and data in your reporting.

The ETF reporter most likely will be based at IBD’s headquarters in Los Angeles, but we will consider other locations for highly qualified candidates. At least three years of relevant journalism experience is preferred, but we will consider other candidates with strong skills. A four-year college degree is required.

IBD is a national newspaper and financial website known for innovative coverage and fact-based analysis of the stock market, economy, business and public policy. We offer an environment that encourages and rewards learning and professional growth and the opportunity to gain first-hand knowledge of how to invest successfully.

Submit resume, cover letter and at least three writing samples to IBDnewsjobs@investors.com. Writing samples can be attached as Word documents or PDFs or pasted into the message. Please put ETF Reporter in the email subject field.
