International Financing Review (IFR), the leading source of information on fixed income and equity markets, is seeking a Deputy Credit Editor to write and edit stories on the US credit markets from our busy New York bureau.
What you’ll do:
• Edit copy and contribute ideas for story coverage
• Write real-time spot news and longer pieces for the weekly magazine and IFRe.com
• Collaborate with a small, experienced team of reporters who have unique access to market leaders and decision-makers in US capital markets
What we’re looking for:
• Strong knowledge of US bond markets
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to cultivate contacts, think analytically, and write with clarity and impact
• 3–5 years’ experience in financial markets and/or business journalism
Preferred experience:
• Managing reporters, assigning stories, motivating staff and editing copy
• Overseeing day-to-day operations of a credit desk
• Driving coverage of breaking US credit market news (deals, industry trends, key people) and explaining complex topics in an accessible way
Compensation/Benefits Information:
LSEG is committed to offering competitive Compensation and Benefits. The anticipated base salary for this position is $98,300 – $163,800.
