The International Business Times is seeking a veteran editor to lead its weekend coverage.
The weekend editor must be well-versed in all areas of news and be able to identify trending topics and develop stories from politics and world news to entertainment and breaking news.
Responsibilities include assigning and writing stories, copy editing and managing the front page of IBTimes.com. The weekend editor is responsible for four 10-hour shifts each week, preferably Thursday to Sunday.
The two weekday shifts are reporting slots that report to the breaking news editor.
All shifts must be performed from IBT¹s New York office. Interested applicants should send a cover letter, clips and resume to Mark Bonner at m.bonner@ibtimes.com.
