Posted by Chris Roush

Inside INdiana Business—which covers business news through television, radio, email newsletters and the web—is seeking a strong reporter to cover business and development across Indiana with an emphasis on the South Bend region.

A division of IBJ Media in Indianapolis, Inside INdiana Business is expanding its reach in the state with email newsletters focused on several communities and regions. We’re looking for a reporter to helm the South Bend-Elkhart Region Report newsletter, which we launched last year, and cover a region that includes South Bend, Elkhart, Mishawaka and Goshen and is the home of the University of Notre Dame and the heart of the world’s RV industry. In addition, the regional reporter will cover business news and trends in restaurants and retail, economic development, manufacturing, life sciences, technology and government that are relevant statewide.

If that sounds interesting to you, please send us your resume. We would love to hear from you.

Inside INdiana Business is an award-winning multi-media news platform that distributes business news through an Emmy award-winning weekly television show, website, two daily email newsletters and two daily radio reports. The TV show and radio reports are aired throughout the state, including in all of the state’s largest media markets.

The South Bend reporter will also contribute to radio reports by providing audio from interviews. We welcome applicants who are experienced with radio and would like to produce on-air reports.

This position answers to Alex Brown, Inside INdiana Business’s managing editor, and will be part of a larger 20-person newsroom that also produces the Indianapolis Business Journal. IBJ Media is a locally owned news organization that focuses on coverage of and for the business community, but we interpret business broadly. In fact, a key part of our focus is covering the intersection of business and government.
