Input Magazine is looking for writers to submit long-form content related to the great outdoors for their May series.

ABOUT THE COMPANY

Input is a technology and culture publication that investigates the objects, ideas, people, companies, and trends that are shaping the future—from what’s happening in streetwear to what’s next in VR.

They have an interest in stories at the intersection of technology and culture. Input also covers fashion, streetwear in particular.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Input Magazine is rolling out a series in May focusing on the great outdoors. The articles must have a technology hook as well.

his NPR guide nicely lays out what makes a good pitch. Please make sure to follow those guidelines before submitting any work.

In a few paragraphs, your pitch should lay out the story, characters, what kind of access you have, etc. A maximum of two ideas per pitch. We are not looking to see completed drafts.

DEADLINE: February 4th, 2022.

COMPENSATION

  • $.75 to $1/word. In general,  we pay .50/word and up, depending on the idea, the writer’s experience, difficulty of execution, etc.
