Input is looking for writers

Input Magazine is looking for writers to pitch content for tech/culture stories about the Super Bowl.

ABOUT THE COMPANY

Input is a technology and culture publication that investigates the objects, ideas, people, companies, and trends that are shaping the future—from what’s happening in streetwear to what’s next in VR.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Familiarize yourself with our website before submitting any content.

To see what we’re looking for, please refer to previous 2020 article here. Please note the difference between a topic, as opposed to a story. Check out NPR’s guide to a good pitch here.

When submitting a pitch, it should be a few paragraphs laying out the story, characters, what kind of access you have, etc. Keep it to one or two ideas per pitch.

Deadline: January 31, 2022 as the Super Bowl takes place on February 13th, 2022.

COMPENSATION

  • 50 cents to $1 per word – depending on the idea, the writer’s experience, difficulty of execution, etc.
