Illinois paper seeks a business reporter

Lee Enterprises is hiring an enterprising reporter to cover business in Central Illinois.

As the economy rebounds and the workforce adjusts, this is an exciting time to report on business news and entrepreneurialism in our area.  The region is home to electric vehicle maker Rivian Automotive’s enormous assembly pant, is the global headquarters of State Farm Insurance and Country Financial, and serves as North American headquarters of Archer Daniels Midland.

This reporter is based at The Pantagraph in Bloomington and will contribute to the Herald & Review in Decatur and Journal Gazette/Times-Courier in Mattoon-Charleston, as well as other news organizations in Lee Enterprises.

We value aggressive breaking news, crucial watchdog reporting and memorable journalism that serves our communities and attracts new audience.

The Pantagraph is a division of Lee Enterprises, Inc., a leading provider of local news, information and advertising, serving 77 markets in 26 states.  Lee’s newspapers have daily circulation of 1.2 million and our websites reach more than 43 million digital unique visitors.  Check us out at www.lee.net.
