The News-Gazette (Champaign-Urbana, Ill., AM, 38K Mon-Sat, 41K Sun) is seeking an enterprising business reporter to cover local business news and make national business/economic trends relevant to a local audience.
The successful candidate should have two or more years of business writing experience. The business reporter will be expected to help on other beats as needed.
Candidates with experience in other media forms (e.g., Web, social media, video, podcasting, online chats) will be given preference.
A 35-hour work week, including night hours and weekends. Wages commensurate with experience (our lowest rate is $17.30/hour).
