IDG News Service, the leading global technology news wire, is looking for a self-starting Video Journalist and technology enthusiast to join our bureau in San Francisco.
The successful candidate will have a demonstrated ability to generate story ideas, both hard news and short features, aimed at both enterprise and consumer technology audiences, and to execute those ideas through shooting, editing and writing short online stories to accompany videos. A thorough understanding of the details of video production including video codecs, bit rates, audio management and lighting, is essential, as is fluency with Adobe Premiere and a good grasp of Photoshop. Experience producing motion and still graphics is a plus.
