The successful candidate will have at least two years of hard news experience (college publications don’t count), strong knowledge of AP style, and comfort with social media and with the idea of driving web traffic.
Reporters work with the editor to write seven to 10 stories per week, to look for and create graphic elements such as tables and charts, and to develop strong local sources who can provide scoops and breaking news for the website.
