Huck Magazine is looking for writers

Huck Magazine is looking for writers to submit pitches for their Spring-Summer issue. The topics will be focused around emerging global subcultures, the intersection between sport and activism, photo projects that demand to be seen, and words of affirmation (please).

ABOUT THE COMPANY

Huck is a youth publication that celebrates and explores independent culture, including people and movements that paddle against the flow. It features stories from the countercultural frontlines — punks, skaters, surfers, artists, activists, filmmakers, photographers and more.

WHAT TO INCLUDE IN SUBMISSION

  •  Write a short introduction about yourself
  • This should have a paragraph highlighting your writing experience, relevant credentials and publication credits
  • Be sure to attach links to your strongest work or portfolio, and online profile.

COMPENSATION

  • ~Around $175 per article – Rates will vary depending on the work required (research, interviews, word-count etc.)
