Fact Tank, the data journalism blog of Pew Research Center, is hiring an associate digital producer. The producer will be playing a key role in the day-to-day production of the data journalism blog.
Additionally, the producer will be working with researchers and editors from across the Center to generate ideas for posts and serves as the primary person shepherding content through the daily production process. Some of the duties would include producing daily content, ensuring digital packaging of Fact Tank, brainstorming ideas, coordinating multiple internal editorial, technical, and design resources for long- and short-term web projects, collaborating with communications and other such tasks.
Applicants must have experience in working with numbers and data trends. They should have the ability to gain an understanding of Pew Research Center’s diverse body of work and should also posses the ability to meet daily deadlines.
Candidates must also have the ability to coordinate groups of content experts, editors, visual designers and programmers to develop online products.
Applicants must have a bachelors degree and minimum three to five years online production experience and a track record of conceiving and writing articles.
