Seeking a reporter to join the Houston Chronicle’s energy team to cover energy policy in Washington DC for the Chronicle and its energy website, FuelFix.com.
Reporter would make daily contributions, break stories and produce significant enterprise across multiple platforms. The reporter is expected to follow energy issues on Capitol Hill and the White House as well as track industry and company lobbyists and their money.
Houston is home to some of the world’s biggest energy companies, all of which have significant stakes in what happens in DC. Reporter is expected to maintain active social media presence. Government and/or energy experience helpful.
