Grow and Convert is looking for writers

Grown and Convert is looking for content marketers! Almost everyone at Grow and Convert starts as a writer, including all content strategists.

ABOUT THE COMPANY

We started Grow and Convert because we wanted to help companies get ROI from content marketing. We were tired of seeing so many companies invest in content marketing with little to show for their efforts.

ABOUT THE ROLES

Marketing Writer for Bottom of the Funnel Blog Posts

This is the flagship role at Grow and Convert and the engine of our agency. We are looking for writers who can write bottom of the funnel blog posts that sell the client’s product or service and lead to conversions. This means the writer needs to be able to deeply understand products, features, and nuances of how they compare, what makes one better than the other and be ale to explain that clearly and concisely. You can read more and see multiple examples in the job description above.

Little to No Experience Content Marketer

If you don’t consider yourself a “writer” or a “marketer” and you haven’t done any “SEO” before but want to learn marketing, content writing, or SEO, and feel you’re smart enough to pick things up quickly and understand complex topics, we may still be a fit for you! In the end, this role is the same as the bottom of funnel blog post role, but we created a separate dedicated job page for it and a separate application form for it because we have quite a few great members of our team that came in with almost zero (or literally zero) marketing or professional writing experience and have become awesome members of our team. Learn more and apply in the link above. Please only apply to one job post.

QUALIFICATIONS

We don’t require much, or any, writing experience. The actual writing we do is simple and clear so we aren’t looking for people with large portfolios with flowery writing. We’re just looking smart people who can understand and communicate products and their benefits clearly and are interested in marketing.

WHAT TO INCLUDE IN SUBMISSION
Write a short introduction about yourself
Include a paragraph highlighting your writing experience, relevant credentials and publication credits
Attach links to your strongest work or portfolio, and online profile.

COMPENSATION

  • We pay writers $500 per piece after the trial period. Full time writers can handle between 12 – 16 pieces per month for full time equivalent income of $6000 – $8000 per month. (But most writers don’t work full time with us, they choose to write a number of pieces that fits in their schedule and most earn between $2500 and $4500 per month.)
