Girls’ Night In is looking for writers

May 14, 2022

Posted by Margarita Sanabria

We’re now accepting pitches at the Girls’ Night In newsletter. It’s a wonderful + warm audience, and your work is guaranteed to be seen by at least nearly 70,000 people each week.

ABOUT THE COMPANY

Girls’ Night In is a weekly newsletter that caters to millennial women aged 25-35+ who care about topics of wellness, relationships, lifestyle, mental health, books, and more.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We publish on a “newsletter-first” basis, meaning your piece would appear first in the newsletter, and then online. If the piece is a bit longer in length, we will typically publish an excerpt from the piece in the newsletter, and link out to the full-length piece on our website.

Please note that across the board, we are currently prioritizing accepting pitches by writers of color, or from other underrepresented backgrounds, in order to uphold equitable and diverse representation.

WHAT TO INCLUDE IN SUBMISSION

  • Write a short introduction about yourself
  • Include a paragraph highlighting your writing experience, relevant credentials and publication credits
  • Attach links to your strongest work or portfolio, and online profile.

COMPENSATION

  • 50 cents to $1 per word
