The journalist in this role will find, report and break stories about influential companies, entrepreneurs, researchers, and leaders in one of the most dynamic and interesting regions of the world — home to tech giants such as Microsoft and Amazon; large engineering centers for companies such as Facebook and Google; major public companies such as Expedia, Redfin, F5 Networks and Zillow; fast-growing technology startups; cutting-edge health tech ventures; innovative cloud and AI companies; major scientific research institutions; and ambitious global philanthropies.

The reporter in this role will cover daily stories about technology, startups, health, artificial intelligence, science, and innovation. The reporter will work on in-depth projects and profiles, manage standing editorial features, contribute to podcasts and videos, speak at events, and collaborate with other members of the GeekWire team.

You are eager to learn and grow professionally through your work as a journalist. You are experienced conducting interviews and working with sources. You follow high standards of journalistic ethics. You are a team player who communicates well and thrives in a startup environment.
