The reporter will zero in on the operations, finances, leadership and impact of the company and its services such as Instagram and Facebook, and examine how Meta and companies including Snap and TikTok work to navigate a period of transformation driven by AI, regulation and changing user behavior.

You will:

- Break news, delivering scoops of fact and insight that distinguish our coverage.
- Conceive and execute deeply reported enterprise stories for readers and as well as other platforms such as podcasts.
- Work effectively as part of a team covering the broader issues facing social media and the broader tech industry.
You have:
- Ace-level sourcing skills and a track record of dominating a beat and producing scoops and other enterprise ahead of the competition.
- Demonstrated ability to tackle ambitious projects and find original approaches to coverage.
- Proven strength collaborating with colleagues as well as the initiative to produce results independently.
- An ability to organize your reporting and write quickly, clearly and accurately.
- Proven success on a business beat, ideally covering tech.
